Biography
Frieda Magdalene Hollmer (*2014) chose the violin and the piano as her instruments. She is a junior student at the University of Music and Dance Cologne (HfMT Cologne), where she studies piano with Professor Gesa Lücker. She also receives violin instruction from Emir Imerov and is a pre-college violin student in the University of Music and Theatre Rostock network, studying with Professor Henja Semmler.
Frieda is an Artist in Residence of the Young Academy Rostock and has won numerous first prizes, including at the Carl Bechstein Piano Competition in Berlin, the Beethoven Meets Friends Piano Competition in Munich, and the International Piano Competition for Young Pianists in Kronberg.
She is a scholarship recipient of the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben, the Familie Rahe Foundation, the Music & Youth Foundation Liechtenstein, the Music Academy in Liechtenstein, and the Perlman Music Program in New York.
As a soloist, Frieda has performed with the Neubrandenburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Bayer Philharmonic Leverkusen, and the Accademia d'Archi Arrigoni in Italy.

Frieda Magdalene Hollmer wurde 2014 in Köln in eine Musikerfamilie geboren. Frieda wählte für sich die Instrumente Violine und Klavier und erhielt von 2019 - 2023/25 in beiden Instrumenten Unterricht an der Rheinischen Musikschule Köln in den Klassen von Michaela Zirnbauer, Violine und Maria Zeidler-Kröll, Klavier.
Seit 2025 ist sie Jungstudentin an der HfMT Köln in der Klavierklasse von Prof. Gesa Lücker und erhält seit 2023 Violinunterricht von Emir Imerov.
Sie bekam weitere Anregungen bei Meisterkursen mit Prof. Ingolf Turban, Prof. Pavel Gililov und Prof. Ruben Dalibaltayan. Seit 2022 ist sie zusätzlich im Netzwerk der Hochschule für Musik Rostock bei Prof. Henja Semmler.
Frieda ist Preisträgerin verschiedener Wettbewerbe. Sie erspielte sich in den Jahren 2020–2023 bei Jugend Musiziert jeweils erste Preise mit Höchstpunktzahl in den Kategorien Streicher-Ensemble (Trio und Duo), Duo Klavier und ein Streichinstrument, Klavier vierhändig, Violine Solo und Klavier Solo.
Mit ihrem Bruder Oscar (Violoncello) bildet sie ein festes Streichduo, das im Mai 2023 den Kammermusikförderpreis Nordrhein-Westfalen gewann. Ausserdem sind sie beide Stipendiaten der Musikakademie Liechtenstein und nehmen an den dort stattfindenden Intensivwochen und Aktivitäten der Akademie teil.

Oscar Benjamin Hollmer wurde 2010 geboren und begann früh mit dem Cellounterricht. Seit 2020 ist er Jungstudent zunächst in der Klasse von Prof. Christoph Richter an der Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen und seit 2025 in der Klasse von Prof. Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt an der Hochschule für Musik “Franz Liszt” in Weimar.
Er nahm aktiv an Meisterkursen von Prof. Troels Svane, Prof. Tanja Tetzlaff, Prof. Jens-Peter Maintz, Prof. Thomas Grossenbacher und Prof. Peter Bruns teil. Oscar ist Preisträger verschiedenster Wettbewerbe. Speziell herausragend ist auch dass er 2024 den Förderpreis beim 39. Bundeswettbewerb Jugend komponiert gewann.
Beim 32. Wettbewerb des Deutschen Musikinstrumentenfonds 2025 wurde Oscar mit einem Violoncello von Lorenzo & Tomaso Carcassi, Florenz, ca. 1768, ausgezeichnet.
Sonntag, 9.Mai 2027, 17 Uhr, Rathaussaal Bad Driburg: Konzert mit Stipendiaten der Jürgen-Ponto-Stiftung für hochbegabte Nachwuchskünstler – Trio Futuro, gegründet 2024 – Frieda Magdalena Hollmer, Klavier/Philipp Chernomor/Violine und Oscar Benjamin Hollmer/Violoncello. Die jungen Künstler spielen Werke von L. v. Beethoven, von dem deutschen Komponisten Georg Kröll, von D. Schostakowitsch und von der kroatischen Komponistin Dora Pejačević.

Trio Futuro
Trio Futuro was founded in 2024.
The three young musicians, who became friends during their pre-college studies, formed the ensemble and, in 2025 and 2026, won First Prize at the German national Jugend musiziert competition, several special awards, and the prestigious WDR 3 Classical Music Prize of the City of Münster. Since 2025, they have also been scholarship recipients of the Jürgen Ponto Foundation in Berlin.
All three musicians perform on instruments provided by the German Musical Instrument Fund of the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben: Frieda plays a violin by Richard Tobin (London, 1834), Philipp a violin by Carlo Annibale Tononi (Venice, 1727), and Oscar a cello by Lorenzo & Tomaso Carcassi (Florence, c. 1768).
